Landscape Tips for March
Well it’s March. But, our weather has been as unpredictable, if not more so than it was in February! However, we promise the plants will start blooming and your grass will start growing and Spring will arrive! Here are a few landscape tips for March.
- Debris clean up from winter storms
- Pre-emergent in all planting areas
- Prune shrub roses
- Cut back most plants
- Apply a dormant oil spray to woody shrubs and trees to protect from insects
- Fertilize woody shrubs and trees
- Prepare lawn for spring seeding
